update 2024-04-26

Alas, more bugs. There was an intermittent issue where locked files/directories weren't being unlocked after meeting the prerequisites. This didn't happen in the Gamemaker test environment, nor when I initially uploaded and played through the game here on itch, but something was still going wrong nonetheless. I ended up re-writing the code that checked for those prerequisites, and it seems that I finally killed that bug.
